Our season of activities is getting up and running in both divisions. Secondary activities started last week with eight different sports teams practicing. In addition to sports, many students are involved in other activities as well. In fact, this year will see the return of the "Cultural Convention" in March. The Cultural Convention. is an event where students from the four American schools in Bolivia come together to celebrate non-sports activities. It involves the same schools that participate in the Friendship Games. A glance at old yearbooks reveal that both the Cultural Convention and the Friendship Games were important parts of school life for many years. It is wonderful to be able to bring this event back for our students.
Elementary School activities start today. We have 11 different activities running. They include various options ranging from sports to Legos and Ceramics. In addition, the Elementary School offers clubs. There will be a club's showcase on Wednesday. Then, this semester's clubs will start next week. We wish all the students success in all their activities.

Nuestra temporada de actividades se está poniendo en marcha en ambas divisiones. Las actividades de Secundaria comenzaron la semana pasada con la práctica de ocho equipos deportivos diferentes. Además de los deportes, muchos alumnos también participan en otras actividades. De hecho, este año veremos el retorno de la "Convención Cultural" en marzo. La Convención Cultural, es un evento donde los estudiantes de los cuatro colegios americanos en Bolivia se reúnen para celebrar actividades no deportivas. Se trata de los mismos colegios que participan en los Juegos de la Amistad. Un vistazo a los anuarios antiguos revela que tanto la Convención Cultural como los Juegos de la Amistad fueron partes importantes de la vida escolar durante muchos años. Es maravilloso poder traer este evento nuevamente para nuestros alumnos.
Hoy inician las actividades de Primaria. Tenemos 11 actividades diferentes en marcha, que incluyen diversas opciones que van desde deportes hasta Legos y Cerámica. Además, Primaria ofrece clubes. El miércoles habrá una presentación de estos clubes. Y luego, los clubes de este semestre comenzarán la próxima semana. Deseamos a todos los estudiantes éxito en todas sus actividades.
