Dear ACS Community,
This week we continue a series of important athletic events. Last week our Middle School Students competed in the Middle School Friendship Games in Cochabamba. All of our students showed good sportsmanship throughout the competition and made many new friends. In addition, our cheerleaders came away with the top prize. Thank you to all the faculty and coaches who made the event possible. Thank you also to the parents who came to support our student athletes. This week our sporting events continue with the High School Cougar Cup. This week we also have our General Assembly on Wednesday and the Halloween carnival on Friday.
In addition, we have a special event in the theater this Wednesday morning at 8:15 AM. The title is "Understanding Dyslexia: How can you support your child”. We hope you will join us for the presentation on this important topic. Thank you to the board committee on learning support for helping make this event possible.

Esta semana continuamos con una serie de importantes eventos deportivos. La semana pasada, nuestros alumnos de Middle School compitieron en los Juegos de la Amistad en Cochabamba. Todos nuestros alumnos demostraron un gran espíritu deportivo durante las competencias e hicieron muchos nuevos amigos. Además, nuestras porristas se llevaron el primer premio. Gracias a todos los profesores y entrenadores que hicieron posible este evento. Gracias también a los padres que estuvieron apoyando a nuestros deportistas. Esta semana, nuestros eventos deportivos continúan con la Copa Cougar de High School. También esta semana tenemos nuestra Asamblea General el miércoles y el viernes tendremos la fiesta de Halloween.
Adicionalmente, tenemos un evento especial en el teatro este miércoles por la mañana a las 8:15 a. m. titulado "Entendiendo la dislexia: ¿Cómo pueden apoyar a su hijo?". Esperamos que nos acompañen en la presentación sobre este importante tema. Gracias al comité de apoyo al aprendizaje de la Directiva por ayudar a hacer posible este evento.
