Dear ACS Community,
Today starts our last full week of school before the holiday break. Our elementary school is busy with their final activities and preparation for the holiday concerts. In the secondary school, students are completing their final assessments and projects before the semester ends. They may need some extra encouragement during this busy week. Next week, we will have two full days of school on Monday and Tuesday. Then, on Wednesday, the 21st of December, all students will be dismissed at noon to start the break.
As a safety reminder, please refrain from parking in the striped crosswalks around the school. This creates a dangerous environment for students crossing the streets.
Furthermore, remember that we are offering two holiday swim times this week. The times are: Friday, December 16th from 3:30 – 5:30 PM, and Saturday, December 17th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM. Parents are responsible for supervising their children at these events.
Finally, don't forget our ES holiday concerts on Monday and Tuesday of next week, the 19th and 20th of December.

Hoy comienza nuestra última semana completa de clases antes de las vacaciones. Los alumnos de primaria están ocupados con sus actividades finales y la preparación para los conciertos festivos. En Secundaria, los alumnos están terminando sus evaluaciones y proyectos finales antes de que termine el semestre. Es probable que necesiten un apoyo adicional durante esta semana ocupada. La próxima semana tendremos dos días completos de clases el lunes y el martes. Luego, el miércoles 21 de diciembre, todos los alumnos saldrán al mediodía para comenzar el receso.
Como recordatorio de seguridad, por favor eviten estacionar su carro en los cruces peatonales alrededor del colegio. Esto crea un ambiente peligroso para los alumnos que cruzan las calles.
Además, recuerden que estamos ofreciendo dos horarios vacacionales de natación esta semana. Los días son: viernes 16 de diciembre de 15:30 a 17:30; y sábado 17 de diciembre de 9:30 a 11:30. Los padres son responsables de supervisar a sus hijos en estos eventos.
Para finalizar, no se olviden de nuestros conciertos festivos de ES el lunes y martes de la próxima semana, 19 y 20 de diciembre.
