Dear ACS Community,
Last week and weekend we successfully hosted the high-school friendship games, in which our boys soccer team took first place. Congratulations to all our athletes and coaches who participated in this event, and thank you to all the supporters who came out to cheer our athletes on. A special thanks goes out to our athletic director, Elba Beyer, for all the work she did to organize the event.
This week is a short week but a busy one. Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be our elementary STEAM day. Then on Wednesday afternoon, we have a special opportunity for teachers and students to come together to envision some possible futures for ACS. Students, please be on the lookout for an invitation to this event. It will take place from 3:30–5:00 PM in the auditorium underneath the elementary library.
This week ends with a school holiday in honor of Thanksgiving. Whether or not you celebrate the holiday, we wish you a joyful break filled with gratitude and family togetherness.

La semana pasada y el pasado fin de semana organizamos con éxito los juegos de la amistad de Secundaria, en los que nuestro equipo de fútbol masculino obtuvo el primer lugar. Felicitaciones a todos nuestros atletas y entrenadores que participaron en este evento, y gracias a todos los seguidores que vinieron a animar a nuestros atletas. Un agradecimiento especial a nuestra directora atlética, Elba Beyer, por todo el trabajo que realizó para organizar el evento.
Esta semana es corta pero ocupada. Mañana martes será nuestro día STEAM de Primaria. Luego, el miércoles por la tarde, tenemos una oportunidad especial para que profesores y alumnos se reúnan para imaginar algunos futuros posibles para ACS. Alumnos, estén atentos a una invitación para este evento. Se llevará a cabo de 3:30 a 5:00 p. m. en el auditorio debajo de la biblioteca de Primaria.
Esta semana termina con un feriado escolar en honor al Día de Acción de Gracias. Ya sea que celebren o no esta festividad, les deseamos un feliz descanso lleno de gratitud y unión familiar.
