Dear ACS Community,
Last week and weekend, our campus was alive with activity from the Middle School Cougar Cup. We had great competition and a friendly spirit among all the schools. Thank you to all the students, parents, teachers, and coaches who came out in support of our Middle School Cougars. This week, we continue the excitement by hosting the High School Cougar Cup. In addition, the week's events start this evening with a music event at the Hard Rock Cafe.
You will also have likely received notice about a change in our tentative date for the family day picnic. After setting the tentative date, we received consistent feedback from those involved that they would prefer an earlier alternate date. So, we have been able to move the event to the 23rd of November. We look forward to seeing you then.
Please remember that next week is our CWW week in the secondary school, and that will be followed by our fall break during the week of the 14th of October. When we return, quarter 2 begins on the 21st.
All the best to our students as they finish their end-of-quarter projects and assessments.

La semana pasada y el fin de semana, nuestro campus estuvo lleno de actividad con la Copa Cougar de Middle School. Tuvimos una gran competencia y un espíritu amistoso entre todas las escuelas. Gracias a todos los estudiantes, padres, profesores y entrenadores que vinieron a apoyar a nuestros Cougars de la Escuela Secundaria. Esta semana, continuamos con la emoción al albergar la Copa Cougar de High School. Además, los eventos de la semana comienzan esta noche con un evento musical en el Hard Rock Café.
Es probable que también hayan recibido un aviso sobre un cambio en nuestra fecha tentativa para el picnic del día familiar. Después de fijar la fecha tentativa, recibimos comentarios consistentes de los involucrados que preferirían una fecha alternativa anterior. Por lo tanto, hemos logrado mover el evento al 23 de noviembre. Esperamos verlos entonces.
