Dear ACS Community,
I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday this past week. I'm happy to report, once again, that COVID-19 cases in municipal La Paz remain very low. In fact, there were only two new cases reported yesterday. Our biosecurity team met again today and recommended a few minor changes about where and when students wash their hands. We will also remove the plexiglass barriers from the tables in our libraries, but no major changes were recommended.
I'm also pleased to announce that we will be able to host another vaccination clinic on campus. Personal from the Ministry of Health will run all aspects of the clinic, but we will provide the space. The clinic will be on the 27th of April and provide both COVID-19 and HPV vaccines. Please see the linked form for eligibility information, the logistical details, and an opportunity to sign-up. Additional information will also arrive in your inbox soon.
Finally, I would like to remind you about our General Assembly meeting at school also on the 27th of April. As you may know, this is the meeting in which we will elect new board members. I'm pleased to announce that we have had six potential board members who were nominated and have accepted the nomination. We hope that you will consider joining us on the 27th for the election and meeting.

Election Details & Candidates For Board Elections

Espero que todos hayan tenido unas agradables vacaciones la semana pasada. Me complace informar, una vez más, que los casos de COVID-19 en el Municipio de La Paz siguen siendo muy bajos. De hecho, ayer solo se reportaron dos nuevos casos. Nuestro equipo de bioseguridad se reunió nuevamente hoy y recomendó algunos cambios menores sobre donde y cuando los alumnos se lavan las manos. También eliminaremos las barreras de plexiglás de las mesas de nuestras bibliotecas, pero no se recomendaron cambios importantes.
También me complace anunciar que podremos tener otra clínica de vacunación en el campus. El personal del Ministerio de Salud se encargará de todos los aspectos de la clínica, pero nosotros proporcionaremos el espacio. La clínica se va a realizar el día 27 de abril y proporcionará vacunas contra el COVID-19 y el VPH. Finalmente, me gustaría recordarles acerca de nuestra reunión de la Asamblea General en el colegio también el 27 de abril. Me complace anunciar que hemos tenido seis posibles miembros del directorio que fueron nominados y aceptaron la nominación.
